No matter how beautiful the fall, it too, eventually must end. Winter will over take it without any apology, yet there is something to admire in every season.
There is nothing particularly unusual about seeing a Ring-billed Gull around here in the winter. In fact they are quite common. I just thought this juvenile looked pretty as it was landing on some ice. Some slip, some slide, and others look pretty cool all the way along, like this one.
