I have to say, of all the trips I’ve taken to Badlands National Park…this morning would have to stand out as the most memorable. I could point my camera in almost any direction and get something stunning and colorful. I have always called this the valley of the yellow mounds…and you can see why…the sunrise just let them up. This was all after a clear, crisp, early morning watching a very active meteor shower…not a bad way to start the day!
