Funny thing about some eagles. They see a fish in the ice and will try just about anything to get it out. Including jumping up on and down and thumping their feet on the ice…just to try to crack it. It’s rarely successful, but every now and then, they break through and get the grub.

I remain thoroughly impressed by the Bald Eagle’s agility in the air. They are fast (when they want to be) and extremely good at changing directions post haste.
