This is Okie…my daughter’s Great Pyrenees. She is goofy, silly, and sometimes…well…often, stubborn. But she can also put on that majestic look now and again, and what a beauty she is. The Pyr is a French breed made for the cold air of the mountains, and for guarding free-roaming livestock. They are gentle giants but they will defend their flock with their life if need be. That stubborn streak comes in handy when you have to battle a predator now and then.
