The skies were clear last night when my Aurora app went off…indicating a high KP level. It didn’t look like much at first…just a thin green band near the horizon. But for a very short while it erupted with some color. With a nearly full moon illuminating the landscape it was an interesting view.

A few years ago I went out to Shields Prairie just North of where I live and shot the Neowise Coment. With the Northern Lights going crazy a few day ago, it seemed like a good place to stop and see what was happening there. It was a lovely display!
